Nike Wu Shu uniforms to go with those nike Wu Shoes Elisa showed earlier...droool

The wushu "olympic event" that ran along side the olympics when wushu failed to get into the olympics.
This is "new" wushu. I provide the rest so people who are interested can check them out, but the one to watch is #8 from Japan. Oh and #9 from China. #9 is good for the technique, but I like #8's routine better.

Documentary (in Chinese), about Mike Wix doing shuaijiao in China
This ad reminds me of a Will Smith Quote: "There's nothing that you've ever been good at that you didn't work on every day."

The wacky monkeys at Cracked.com give a roundup of what they consider to be the most ass-kickingest martial arts around...

The Olympics have come & gone through China. The opening ceremony was based on the 4 gifts that history shows what China has given the world. The Compass, Paper, Painting & Printing. I was hugely disappointed that they did not promote the real gift of what China has given the world, & quite possibly the most well known ..Martial Arts. China, the birthplace of all martial arts, yet it was a silent shadow in the Olympics.
Interesting article on wushu and the Olympics. The video is also interesting - you'll have to wait for the sponsor ad at the start to finish first; I think it's worth the wait.
