Inspired by EJ's push up awesomeness - I had a go at 100 V-sits this morning....and I did it. (I had to take a 1 minute break at 50..mainly to breathe, but also to stretch.)
Now that I have completed it...I am pretty sure I never want to do it again

I am up to 70 V-sits now...although I wont be able to move for the rest of the long weekend. the push ups are going well. I am still to start the burpees...I figure that they will make my entire body sore, so I will wait until I have achieved all my other goals before I start them.

I have been mostly working on V-situps this week. I started the week only able to manage about 20 before the pain made me stop - now I can do almost 40. The push ups are not going as well...and because I am not seeing any improvement, I am uninclined to practice doing them.
On another note, I have found that the 100 chalenge has had some positive spin off effects - I now have heaps more energy & I feel really good about taking on new goals. I have decided to challenge other areas of my life, so I am going back to uni part time to do an MBA
Awsomeness!!

After training today, I decided to have a go at 100 second hand stand..and I made it...just! I have also started a youtube channel called 'my 100 day challenge' where I am posting all my progress and successes.
Awesomeness!
watch the video if you want..but I warn you, 100 seconds of a hand stand is not the most interesting thing to watch.

Yesterday I started the challenge & I set my goals pretty low but after talking to Vince today I am now convinced that I should set my goals high & be happy with whatever I manage to achieve in the next 100 days. So here is my wish list:
100 push ups
100 V-situps
100 seconds of horse stance (I think this one might be my Unicorn)
200 seconds of hand stand (I am pretty sure I can already do 100 seconds, so I want to up the ante)
100 Kicks each leg
100 burpees
...sadly I can't do any jumps because of the knee issue.
I will post videos of my progress
AWESOME!

So I went on holiday for a couple of days (down to Taupo) & just to show that I wasn't slacking...here are a couple of pictures of me doing stance work
The first picture is at a geothermal park & the second is on Mount Ruapehu
