Hey there. I love your videos, and I'd love to begin practising shuaijiao. I live in Taibei at the moment and I am studying BJJ (and Chinese), and I was wondering if you knew of any shuaijiao schools in Taibei.
Thanks a bunch for any information you can give. |

I did a little bit of research on these tools, and found some tools that could replace some of the more traditional tools to increase overall performance. It can also help to reduce the chances of injury as well. I'd love to hear your input.
1. Hand Grips / Weighted Grips could be a substitute for the Long Bag. http://youtube.com/watch?v=tC1 (Tommy Carruthers uses it at 0:50 in the video) 2. Kettle Balls may be easier to work with than the Stone Lock. http://youtube.com/watch?v=Nmq 3. The Mace Bell seems easier to work with than the long pole. http://youtube.com/watch?v=cGi 4. Hip Tossing a Heavy Bag, and attaching it to a pulley to work your throw techniques seems a lot more effective than using a bench press rod with a weight attached to one side. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v |

This is a great channel. I've always wanted to learn more about Shuai Jiao. I'm currently training in jiujitsu, catch wrestling, judo, and would like to know more about this style. Do I have to go to China to get authentic training?
