Full Membership - $20 yearly membership fee for administration/website access,& then $50 per month
Ages 13+ only. For the safety of all students, & due to certain subject matter in the Wu LinNZ curriculum, no children under the age of 13 will be permitted to learn unless learning WITH a parent who is a student of WuLinNZ.
For immediate family membership, if there is 3 or more members from the same family concessions are given starting at $10 discount for each family member. The more family members, the more the discount, so please be sure to chat to us about this if applicable
YOU WILL NEED:
a) A refillable bottle of drinking water
b) A hat/beanie AND a jacket/sweater to wear after class
c) Sports trousers (sweat pants preferable)
d) A good pair of cross-trainers (Squash shoes are perfect)
Though Wu Shu literally started when man first used a tool to hunt for food, & evidence of Wu Shu techniques can be dated as far back as 3000 years, it is a matter of principle (in terms of the study of human history) that the organization of past events are often grouped together under the umbrella of a ruling "dynasty" (i.e. a period in history marked by duration of a particular person, organization or family's rule over that country or culture). Unlike Egyptian history, where the dynasties are numbered, Chinese history is described through dynasties that are named e.g. the Han Dynasty or the Ming Dynasty. Unfortunately it is not common knowledge to everyone exactly which dynasty came before which and this can lead to much confusion for everyday people and Wushu students alike.
