
So it's nearing spring when the excess fat I have will start becoming unnecessary.
I finally got around to doing burpees with tabata intervals last night.
I've finally timed myself and 12/12 is just about right for 20s burpees and 10s starjumps.
I first tried 13 burpees and 10 star jumps, that took me about 2:08 minutes for 4 sets (I was knackered after 4. Yes!)
So I decided to try 10 burpees 10 star jumps, that took me 1:45 minutes for 4 sets. So that wouldn't do either, although I wasn't so tired. It's amazing how much of a difference dropping 3 per set (only 9 less burpees) was. It almost took me twice as long to recover on the 13 burpees.
In the end, I put my phone where it was visible while doing burpees and starjumps and I figured 12 was the right number for each.
So it's back to burpees again tomorrow. I actually can't wait.
