As we all know Forbidden Kingdom is already released in other countries (dammit!), but not here. Kinda left in the dark we were.
Anyway, it's finally coming to NZ on the 4th of September. Still aaaaaaages away, but at least we have a bearing to look forward to.
Watch out also for the next incarnation of The Mummy, also starring Jet Li, which will be out on the 11th of September. Man, too much excitement for one month!

probably old news for some, but looks exciting
kinda cool with the new indian jones movie already out as well

Another movie similar to "The Nomad". Looks pretty cool
It's about genghis khan, and is in mongolian (although it sounds like the trailer is in russian)

Far out! this was out in 2006 and i never heard about it!
Anyway, i haven't seen it yet but sure want to. It's a film about ablai khan, set in kazakhstan and stars jason scott lee and mark dacascos!!!
apparently it didn't do well at the box office, but oh well.

We've talked about doing things like this in the past. Normally I wouldn't approve of anything that could be described as "cosplay", but this one's pretty well done - if you know Tekken, you'll see the characters do all the proper throws and unblockables that they do in the game.
...but it looks pretty cool...
I know I posted a link to the trailer of Shaolin Girl in the forums - but this trailer for it looks slightly different.
And it seems they actually have a release date for the movie too (April 26 2008?)

He's back! Screaming karate kid and his bo staff!! The video below is the one that made him famous (with us, anyway) - here's a more recent one (in which he is referred to as "the world champion in this event"):

And another one, minus the bo staff:

Nice moves - not sure about the application of some of them, though...

I guess getting rid of that mole was good for him financially, but is it good for his fans?
anyone seen it? is it a good movie?
